This is my second pair of Hoka Mafate Speed 4. My first pair, which I started using in 2023, is still in good condition even after many hikes&miles.I decided to purchase a second pair before the model becomes obsolete,better to keep a backup while it's still available.
The cushioning is excellent and provides great comfort, even on long hikes. It fits true to size and required no break-in. I’ve used it on technical trails, and it performs very well&great grip, stability, and support. Long hikes are also not an issue.
Previously, I hiked Mt. Kinabalu with my first Mafate Speed 4, and it was a safe, comfortable, and memorable trip with no foot issues at all.
